Strasbourg, 12-13 May 2022 Minister Marta Cartabia participated in the International Conference opening for signature of the Second Additional Protocol to the Convention on Cybercrime (“Budapest Convention”), within the framework of the Italian Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
In the context of the proliferation of cybercrime, the Additional Protocol to the Budapest Convention provides a set of legal instruments, which are part of the system of protection of human rights and the rule of law, to strengthen international cooperation and enable the disclosure of electronic evidence.
