25.02.2022 Minister Luigi di Maio said that the “Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, under the Italian presidency decided to oust the Russian Federation from its membership, pursuant Article 8 of the Statute. Italy deems it necessary due to the unacceptable military aggression against Ukraine.
