Agreement for the joint organization of the 7th Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Advisory Forum

On 15 June 2017 the agreement for the joint organization of the 7th Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Advisory Forum, hosted in Lucca on the 27-29 September 2017, was signed at the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MiBACT).

The Agreement was signed by the MiBACT, the Tuscany Region as host entity, and the Council of Europe Executive Secretary for the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes, the Italian Stefano Dominioni. The Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Advisory Forum is the main annual event of the Cultural Routes programme that gathers together hundreds of stakeholders, such as scientists, experts, cultural tourism operators, representatives of certified Cultural Routes and Council of Europe member states delegates in order to discuss European Cultural Routes themes, challenges and future prospects.

We would like to remind you that of the 31 Cultural Routes certified by the Council of Europe 23 are in Italy and 5 of them have the Italian coordination (Via Francigena, Iter Vitis, ATRIUM, Rotta dei Fenici, Città termali storiche).
